HCVP Waitlist Remains Open for Posterity Heights
Fort Wayne Housing Authority (FWHA) has extended its Housing Choice Voucher Program waitlist for qualified income-based families interested in living at Posterity Heights, the city’s newest housing community located on the former site of McMillen Park Apartments in the 4200 block of Plaza Drive. Interested families should review the below resident qualification criteria and complete a Housing Choice Voucher Program application. Qualified applicants must be currently attending school or enrolled in an upcoming semester. Applicants may also be attending or plan to attend a self-sufficiency program that will prepare them for a continuing education opportunity. Applicants meeting the qualifications for Posterity Scholar House will receive first consideration.
Qualified applications must meet the following criteria:
Single parent students furthering their education
• Single parent students currently enrolled in school
• Single parent students enrolled in future semester
• Single parent enrolled in Self-sufficiency Program seeking continued education
Applications will be accepted by mail, by fax, or in person. If faxing your application, it must be sent to 260-267-9306.
Applicants are reminded that once they apply, they must report all changes in their address or preferences to the Fort Wayne Housing Authority IN WRITING within 10 business days of the change. No changes will be accepted over the phone. No mail is forwarded by the U.S. Post Office from the housing authority. If no address change is made with the Housing Authority and the FWHA receives returned mail, the application will be removed from the waiting list.
